I decided to take my own advice - start small.
I set aside an hour each morning in my cozy writing nook to chip away. I lit my favorite candle, turned on comforting music, and minimized distractions. In this nurturing space, my mind opened up.
Rather than tackling everything at once, I made daily to-do lists to break the process into bite-sized steps. Focus on an outline first, character sketches next, sample exercises to follow. Piece by piece, it came together.
Before I knew it, I had filled pages with lessons learned from my own self-care writing journey.
It was time to pay forward this knowledge to you, my fellow writer and nurturer of self.
